The name tells most of the story: it is an albino (leucistic) isolation taken from Emerald Gates, itself a boutique cross. Expect small to medium fruits with chalk-white stems and off-white caps that bruise blue readily, so most batches show blue-green marks from harvest and drying.

A word of honesty up front: this is not a Golden Teacher with decades of trip reports behind it. Emerald Gates is generally credited to a small group of hobbyist breeders, with the lineage usually given as Pearly Gates crossed back into a green-cap Melmak OG isolation, and the albino line was selected and stabilized from that grow. Community documentation is still thin, so everything below reflects how experienced users tend to describe it rather than any formal analysis.

Why are the mushrooms white and blue instead of gold or brown?
Albino cubensis lack most of the pigment that gives standard strains their tan caps, so any bruising shows up starkly against the white flesh. Blue marks on Albino Emerald Gates are normal and expected; they are a handling trait of the strain, not a sign of a bad batch.

Is Albino Emerald Gates stronger than regular Emerald Gates?
Growers and users who have tried both generally describe the albino as at least as strong as its parent, often with cleaner-looking fruits. There are no lab numbers behind that, so treat it as community consensus rather than fact, and dose the albino as Very Strong regardless.

The usual account is that hobbyist breeders crossed Pearly Gates with a green-cap Melmak OG isolation to make Emerald Gates, then selected the albino line from that grow. We can't verify this independently, so we present it as reported, not settled history.
